Abstract
Objective: This study aimed to explore the lived experience and analyze the complex mechanisms of construction, presentation, and redefinition of social identity among rural women at the intersection of digital agency and local structural constraints.

Method: This qualitative study employed a descriptive phenomenological approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 15 women residing in Khurchan Village, Isfahan Province, who possessed active public Instagram accounts and published content related to rural life. Participants were selected using purposive sampling with maximum variation (considering age, education, marital status, socio-economic status, and type of activity), and interviews continued until theoretical saturation was achieved.

Findings: Data analysis led to the emergence of one overarching theme, "Multi-layered Lifeworld between Tradition and the Digital, " organized into seven main themes: 1) The Digital Lifeworld as an Arena of Agency and Self-Actualization; 2) Emotional and Psychological Tensions in the Comparative Space; 3) Boundary-setting, Privacy Protection, and Ethics in Digital Space; 4) Networking, Activism, and Seeking Social Connection; 5) The Confrontation between Individual Agency and Technological Determinism; 6) Tensions in Parental and Gender Roles in the Digital Age; and 7) Instagram as a Realm of Escape and Comfort.

Conclusion: The findings reveal that women from Khurchan Village, situated within the field of opposing forces between localized traditional structures and the globalized logic of the digital realm, are creating a paradoxical "multi-layered lifeworld." By employing practical wisdom and digital agency through complex processes of reflexive identity construction (Giddens), dramaturgical self-management (Goffman), and livelihood strategies,
