Most part of research about political culture in Iran has been focused on Almond and Verba thesis of political culture. This paper for measuring of political culture and typology of it, use Inglehart and Welzel (2005) thesis about political culture- it is called "self experiment".<br />This paper is a survey study by control of terms, is a broaden study by extended and is a cutting study by time (in the second half of 1388). The population is the entire person that has more than 18 years old in Sanandaj city. The sample size based on Kockran formula is 349. The questionnaires with suitable structures validity (based on Kronbagh's coefficient of Alfa) in the ratio of age, sex in deferent areas have been distributed. <br />There are many research results: The mead of political culture in Sanandaj city was in type of Democratic capacity. Results show that there are meaningful relation between type of political culture and ethnic tolerance approach. توجه به مقوله فرهنگ در حیطه سیاست امر تازه‌ای است. عمده مباحث مطرح‌شده در رابطه با فرهنگ سیاسی در جامعه علمی ایران مبتنی‌بر تز کلاسیک آلموند و وربا یعنی بحث «فرهنگ مدنی» بوده است. نوشتار حاضر در راستای واکاوی پیوند فرهنگ و سیاست، تأکید خود را بر بررسی گونه‌شناسی فرهنگ سیاسی مبتنی‌بر تز نوپدید اینگلهارت و ولزل (2005؛ 2009) نهاده است. <br />این نوشتار از نظر کنترل شرایط پژوهش یک بررسی پیمایشی، از نظر وسعت پهنانگر و از نظر زمانی، مقطعی است (نیمة دوم سال 1388). جامعه آماری آن کلیة افراد بالای 18 سال شهر سنندج و حجم نمونه بر اساس فرمول کوکران، 340 نفر تعیین شده است. پرسشنامة طراحی‌شده با روایی سازه‌های مناسب (بر اساس ضریب آلفای کرونباخ) برحسب نسبت سن، منطقه محل سکونت و تحصیلات افراد توزیع شده است. <br />نتایج تحقیق حاکی از وجود نوع فرهنگ سیاسی مستعد دموکراسی در میان مردم ساکن سنندج است. نتایج همچنین نشان از وجود رابطه مثبت میان انتخاب رویکرد متساهلانة قومی در ابعاد سیاسی، فرهنگی و اجتماعی و نوع دموکراتیک فرهنگ سیاسی دارند. http://www.jicr.ir/article_190_cfecdb276f634854f3ef915e2e980c31.pdf
