This article aims to discover and divulge the hidden and obvious themes of social malingering in the actions of characters in the movie A Hero, by Asghar Farhadi. Since, according to some critics and thinkers, the content and themes of Iranian cinema have a deep connection with social issues and events, this study is an attempt to highlight social interactions and analyze everyday life in contemporary Iran. The research was conducted using a qualitative method and content analysis technique. The main problems discussed here were: Why do we construct a hero? What is the relationship between the phenomena of social malingering and constructing a hero in everyday life? Findings show the phenomenon such as social malingering and a hero construct in everyday life, in the mutual relationship and dialectic of attempt and failure, the inefficiency of social and political institutions, individuality cult, ideological morality, ontological insecurity and the reduction of social capital among others. It seems the social malingering and constructing a hero may be strategies for survival, especially the survival of honor and social acceptability in interactions and everyday life, the last type of social action and initiative to protect oneself and society.

This paper is to explore the mechanism of social production of Nowbahar Park in Kermanshah city. The theoretical approach is based on Henry Lefebvre's opinions on production of space. The study method is ethnography and in addition data collection techniques: observation, interviews, examination of documents and cognitive maps. The research findings are as follows: 1) Nowbahar Park was built in the late 1960s on the broad settlement processes; 2) The way people are exposed to this public space is influenced by intrinsic meanings, and each age group uses its own terms. Teenagers and young people in the reproduction of stigmatized meanings and the old people play a role in production of meanings. The permanent presence of Teenagers and young has increased their naming power; 3) Activists of daily life over time have been described by different meanings. These meanings are dual and at the same time, good/bad, relaxing/threatening. But, negative meanings are more prominent and so as to be known as a stigmatized place in the mental space of the city.

In this paper with the use of cultural studies approach and from the perspective of critical theory of everyday life scholars such as Henry Lvfvr, Michelle Dvsrtv, and John Fiske, and also by using Roland Barthe’s Semiotics approach, we discussed the Semiotic analysis and discovering the meaning of the image represented form different aspects of youth’s everyday life in context of Tehrann city in two levels of implicit and explicit implications at three movies” “Tehran, Tehran”, “Melissa” and “at the end of eighth Street. Films selection was based on purposive sampling and continuity in film making in order to reveal the directors view of different generation as well as the importance of the city as a driving element in the narrative. Image represented from Tehranian youths shows that their consideration of Citizenship status, is a vertical consideration that despite of their efforts in resisting the interests of the ruling power, eventually they see themselves in situations to be inevitably subordinate and passive receptive of environmental change. Special features of Tehran like will and power, put pressure on young people to make decision or reaction, and if they weren’t in this city, they would not act similar. The city that represented in this movies, is a place that characters have short and unstable relationship on it, and its insecurity atmosphere suppresses the aspirations of young people, in their demand to find their goals, tehran leads them outside its territory, Tehran is a place that put spaces among heroes, generations and its citizens ,which marginalize the new generation grew up in its context from the mainstream of the society at the expense of trying to choose and determining their own destiny

These days war has became one of the most important identical factors of the Middle East in western media. As war is representing the Middle East ugly and horrible to the public opinion, is being repeated normally in the lives of the Middle Eastern residents. On the other hand, the anti-war movements blame politicians and the terrorist groups. This article will consider such subject by emphasizing war as an everyday life issue in the Middle East (as multidimensional and culture phenomenon) and antiwar especially in America. The hypothesis is that war as a totality has covered all aspects of the Middle East residents (such as Iran) as has turned to part of their everyday life. On the contrary, anti-war in the western countries (America) has the same situation as above. In this paper, as a theoretical base, Zimmle, Marx, Weber, Lukach, Do serto, Foucault, Hall and Fisk will be used. The data has been collected in 1387 [2008] via qualitative methods (dialogue, observation and news analysis).

Although the concept of wandering has not been applied popularly in Iran, it could explain many cultural phenomena. The present article first outlines the history of wandering and its used meaning. Then, it describes a form of wandering as the distinctive lifestyle of urban subordinate groups in the shopping centers. The result of this article has been obtained by employing qualitative methods and through interviews and observation. The authors believe that shopping centers create a certain lifestyle for urban middle class people through the purchase and consumption of goods. At the same time, wandering in its used meaning in Iran has formed the lifestyle of lower class groups.

The Globalization accelerated the paradoxical processes of modernization by introducing the cultural homogenizations and heterogenizations: construction and deconstruction of local-communitarian identities. This is why we are facing on the one hand, the increasing of local identities and visions and on the other hand, the interference, sometimes in a conflicted way, of the latter forms with the national and global identities. In this context, the Iranian problematic is discussed by an urban anthropological theoretical approach. The main concern in this article is the everyday life styles as the most important means of the cultural identity formation and their self expressions. Social constructed space as Lefebvre put it, and Cultural Studies tradition of everyday life, have been the starting points of this paper aiming to analyze the cultural resistance phenomenon expressed in physical and bodily spaces as well as in social and intercultural relations in domains such as age, ethnics and gender. These identity schemes have been taken as minority situations when they express in a way or other, some sort of cultural or social resistance facing a dominant pattern and by this way the paper try to present some practical and applied solutions to decrease the social tensions.

With the emergence of new social media networks, the mechanisms of gaining fame have undergone massive transformations. Today, users have attained the opportunity to reach fame, which was not easily accessible before. In this regard, due to its easy-to-use capabilities and high popularity among users, Instagram has become a main platform for creating fame. Many Instagram users are inclined to become famous on this social network for various reasons, and this fame brings considerable consequences in the society, which enhances the importance of sociological analysis of the issue. By this way, the present paper tries to examine and analyze the causes and effects of fame on Instagram while reviewing the theories about economy, fame, and microcelebrity. The study was conducted with a qualitative approach and semi-structured in-depth interviews with 20 Instagram users. The findings obtained from the interviews were also extracted and analyzed with the thematic analysis technique and demonstrated 6 main themes and 12 sub-themes. Finally, based on the interviewees' responses, significant reasons for seeking fame on Instagram include monetizing and acquiring economic capital, a shortcut to success, and an opportunity to be seen and heard, which has led to important outcomes such as the standardization of taste, the consumerism of everyday life, and changing values and norms in the society.
