چکیده
بازنمایی زندگی روزمره موضوع بحث بسیاری از تولیدات رسانهای در ایالات متحده امریکاست. بیشک زمانی که سخن از زندگی روزمره به میان میآید، خانواده محوریترین عنصر آن تلقی میشود. ژانرهای مختلف تلویزیونی مانند سریالهای دنبالهدار، کمدی موقعیت و غیره که اوج پیداش آنها در امریکا به دهه 1950 بازمیگردد، به بازنمایی خانواده، روابط مبتنی بر آن، دغدغهها، انتظارات و رویکردهای معطوف به آن پرداختهاند. اوقات فراغت و الگوی مصرف خانواده که در جامعه سرمایهداری جدیّت بیشتری دارد نیز میتواند از این رو حائز اهمیت باشد که روابط خانوادگی و نحوه گزینش الگوی مصرف و بازنمایی آن در سریالها شکل و نوع روابط مبتنی بر یک خانواده امریکایی را نشان دهد. به طور طبیعی مطالعه خانواده به عنوان اشل کوچکی از جامعه بزرگتر میتواند ترسیمکنندة افق شناخت آن جامعه باشد. موضوع بحث این مقاله مطالعه کمدی موقعیت سیمسونهاست. این برنامه تلویزیونی که شهرتش مرزهای فرهنگی متفاوتی را درنوردیده است، سایقه تولیدش به دهه 1980 بازمیگردد. ژانر طنز و محتوای روزمره و قابل لمس آن نیز باعث شده در ایالات متحده امریکا نیز این سریال محبوبیت بینظیری نزد شهروندان امریکایی داشته باشد. مقاله به مطالعة فصول شماره 3 تا 8 این کمدی موقعیت میپردازد چرا که مطالعه تمامی بخشهای این سریال دنبالهدار که نزدیک به 400 قمست است خارج از حوصله این مقاله است. سؤال اصلی این مقاله این است که چگونه در این کارتون، خانواده امریکایی در اوقات فراغت بازنمایی شدهاند. به طور واضحتر اینکه اولاً تکتک افراد خانواده سیمسون اوقات فراغت خود را به مصرف چه کالاهایی اختصاص میدهند و ثانیًا در سطح خانوادگی این مصرف چه شکلی دارد. مبنای نظریای که مقاله بر آن متکی است، تئوری بازنمایی استوارت هال میباشد و روش مطالعه نشانهشناسی رولان بارت است. واحد تحلیل در قسمتهای مرتبط سکانس و در قسمتهای غیرمرتبط موضوع آن قسمت خاص میباشد.
