چکیده
توجه محافل دانشگاهی و علمی به حوزه بدن را می بایست واکنشی به تغییرات بنیادین صورت گرفته در رابطه بین بدن، اقتصاد، تکنولوژی و جامعه دانست. رشد تکنولوژی های تغذیه، سلامت و ورزش در کنار اهمیت یافتن عاملیت و مصرف گرایی شدید بدن و بدنی شدن را به موضوعی مهم د رمطالعات اجتماعی و فرهنگی جامعه معاصر تبدیل ساخته است. مقاله حاضر با اتکاء به یافته های کمی و کیفی جوانان دختر و پسر فعال ورزشی بدنبال شناخت رابطه و احساس این دسته جوانان نسبت به بدن خود و زمینه ها و انگیزه های موثر بر توجه جدی آن‌ها به تناسب اندام است. نتایج بدست آمده بیانگر این است که نوگرایی د رجامعه ایران تاثیرات خود را در حساسیت جوانان به کنترل و انضباط بر بدن خویش و حساسیت بیشتر برای ارائه تصویر مطلوب از آن بر جای گذاشته است. به موازات تاثیر این نیرو، گفتمان های رقیب در حوزه عمومی جامعه ( از جمله گفتمان مردانه) مرجع مهمی در شکل دهی، فهم، تفسیر و بازنمایی بدن به شمار می آید که علاوه بر بازتولید سنتی هنجارها و رفتارهای بدنی قواعد و تاثیرات آن بواسطه تغییر نگاه و نگرش های جدید، تغییراتی را نیز متحمل شده است.
