چکیده

علیرغم وجود حجم زیاد مباحث نظری در خصوص فرهنگ تصویری، کمابیش با کمبود در روش های تحقیق و تحلیل متون تصویری به ویژه از نوع شهری آن مواجه هستیم. در مقاله حاضر روش‌تحقیق ترکیبی برای تحلیل، خوانش و ‌تفسیر متون فرهنگ تصویری شهری معرفی‌شده است. برای‌ دقیق‌ترشدن این معرفی، یکی از نقاشی‌های دیواری برجسته در شهر تهران، در قالب یک مطالعه موردی انتخاب و تحلیل شده است. تحلیل در دو ‌سطح تحلیل نشانه‌شناختی و ‌تحلیل‌گفتمان انجام گرفت: در سطح اول، از روش نشانه‌شناسی اُتول، و ‌در سطح دوم، از نظریه گفتمان لاکلو ‌و ‌موف ‌استفاده شد. ‌یافته‌های این روش ترکیبی نشان داد که نخست ‌در سطح خرد در این نقاشی دال‌هایی نظیر طبیعت، شهر، مرد و ‌زن به عنوان گره‌گاه‌های متن شناسایی و ‌روابط تقابلی آنها به شکل دوگانه‌های طبیعت (روستا)/شهر و‌ مرد/زن را برجسته کرده است؛ دوم، گفتمان‌های اصلی و ‌رقیب شناسایی‌شده در متن عبارتنداز گفتمان حفاظت از محیط زیست در برابر گفتمان رشد شهری و ‌گفتمان مردسالاری در برابر گفتمان برابری‌طلبی جنسیتی (فمنیسم) که از طریق دال‌های ویژهٔ خود در حال نزاع و ‌تخاصم و ‌اعمال هژمونی بر یکدیگر هستند. گفتمان حفاظت از محیط زیست و ‌گفتمان مردسالاری به کمک بازنمایی مثبت دال‌های کلیدی‌شان، نقش گفتمان‌های مسلّط و ‌غالب را در این متن بازی می‌کنند.
